Our Story

I graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 1994 with a degree in Radio-TV-Film. This was right at the time when things in the world of media creation were all going digital. For several years I worked various jobs unrelated to my degree field and true passion just so I could make ends meet. In 2003 I began volunteering at a large church in Austin that had a substantial video department. It was there that I learned the skills needed to survive in the digital world. It's hard to believe that was over twenty years ago! That church volunteer position turned into a full-time job and I worked there for 6 years. I left the church to help start P&R Productions in 2012. 

P&R Productions has created a lot of content! They've told hundreds if not thousands  of stories and had the opportunity to produce two award winning documentaries, Tomato Republic and "Until Proven Innocent." We followed a mayoral race in the small town of Jacksonville, TX for a few months. We did it for fun and actually came up with something we are really proud of. Tomato Republic "Until Proven Innocent" is the story of a wrongfully convicted mom from Corpus Christi, TX. We shot with the key players for 4 years to tell the story of an incredible 7 year saga. That documentary won the audience award at both the Dallas and Lighthouse International Film Festivals. In 2016 my wife and I moved to Colorado. While we were there we started Media808, to make it easier to continue working on a contract basis with P&R Productions. In 2020 we found ourselves back in Texas and back alongside the people we have grown up in this industry with. We've been blessed to see our business begin to grow and decided to change our name to something more meaningful. We landed on Resonant because we think that word encompasses our vision of creating powerful, lasting, and reverberating media. We understand the power of stories coupled with the power of video can give anyone the ability to get their message out to a global audience. We're excited to see what the future holds and we can't wait to tell some of your stories!
